Well, well, well. I’ve been AWOL for too long and what a day to come back! It’s NATIONAL OXYGEN AWARENESS DAY everybody! Know your blood oxygen saturation number.
Go to your pharmacy and purchase a pulse oximeter – they’re not expensive. See what happens as your oxygen levels fluctuate when you exercise (it goes down), when you drink alcohol (it goes down – but how do I know this??), being overweight (it goes down), or if you go on an eating binge (down). Fasting (it goes up). Being fit (up), Drinking oxygen-rich water – IT GOES UP and UP IS GOOD!
